Sometimes, it really sucks that you live in a nation with a small market and economy. (No offence of any kind!) You always have to seek purchases from overseas. We do not sell Barbie Eyes of Japan(my favourite 16mm coloured contact lenses, usual ones such as Geo lens are 13-15mm at maximum)here, not even in Blogshops. You have to order Geo lenses from Blogshops and risk being cheated of your money or even given a China-made quality instead of Korea's. Cosmetics are of limited choice here too, we do not even have any GA(Giorgio Armani) cosmetic stores here. Neither do I spot any Armani Fiori(an Armani shop that sells only flowers, tied with Armani's lace). Food is of restricted variety. Designer labels do not make available their special/limited editions here. Clothes, we only get them after it travelled half the globe(from US to Japan to HK then to us), by which it's out of fashion when we purchased it. Digital gadgets for example iPhone, how long did it take to arrive first in Singapore? So far I am concerned, everytime something new releases, it's never in Singapore first. For this reasons, I am very glad HK is near(okay, I admit next to and part of)China. Without such a vast market of shoppers from China, HK will not have what it provides today.

So back to my main concern.
I was watching tv from HK's line yesterday when I saw an ad. (Do private e-mail me for link/methods to watch instant HK channels) Yes, one that changed my life(sort of). It was Sony Cyber-shot featuring it's latest addition to their family.

As you know, Vanessababy loves camera. Somehow, I just love purchasing cameras, be it a DSLR or DSC. I never have any form of addiction or hobbies of any kind. But I just love to buy/collect cameras. I love to purchase the latest cameras in market or any that is unique. Cameras are my favourite. I know I was just saying yesterday how Lumix GF1 is the greatest love of my life, but Sony's TX7 would be the best friend in my life then. I love DSLR(GF1), while at the same time, I love to own digital still cameras too. For DSCs are easy to carry about, due to it's slim and light appearances. I am someone who goes for quality, thus DSLR is still my preferred choice. Yet, GF1 is the first ever DSLR which caught my eyes with it's DSC like size and light-weight. How can I ever miss such a handsome camera?

Then, Sony must come up with a Cyber-shot which is so beautiful. My dream camera kind.

One good thing is it's not make available in Singapore yet. So the temptation would be reduced and I would not be so painful. Yet. I am sure it would arrive in Singapore sooner or later, in the near future. I hate to think how I would have to spend hundreds on a camera which I love at that time, then later getting bored over it and seeking another more beautiful and newer camera again. This cycle never ends as technology improves daily, every other second and even those nanoseconds in between to be exact. I know this is stupid, but I love cameras. It's the only thing I crave for mostly in life. So why not make myself happy with a few hundreds or thousands, no? Perhaps this is why people often say those native in Africa are the happiest. For they never have much cravings, life is so simple for them. They need not cry over not owning the latest cameras, laptops or phones. But I do, sadly.
