It's Friday now, went to China yesterday.

Took MTR to ShenZhen.

It's a very convenient way to go China, there are trains every 5 minutes or so.

Inside the MTR.

It's slightly different from those along the Island Line, but it's alike to how we travel to Malaysia via MRT back at Singapore.

It's also a daily transport for HK people travelling within HK too.

Other than these special seats, all are the same as that of a typical MTR cabin.

Towards Lo Wu.

Which is also ShenZhen.

The last time I visited ShenZhen was like ten years or more ago, it has greatly changed by now.

At ShenZhen!!!

This is what happened to me at the China Immigration(in Chinese)

Officer: Are you sure this is you?(holding my passport)

Me: Yar.

Officer: Give me a smile.

Me: *smiles*

Officer: Did you go for plastic surgery?

Me: NO!

Officer: You sure this was you a year ago?

Me: Yes.

Officer: How old are you?

Me: 15.

Officer: Where else of China have you been to?

Me: Shanghai.

Officer: You really very sure this is you?

Me: YES!!!!!!!!!

Officer: Ok, go.

Me: Thanks(cursing him in my heart).

If I were to smuggle, I would have chosen USA or UK, not China!

Shopping!

I find HK like Singapore and ShenZhen like Malaysia(JB).

Food are very worthy and delicious, but I wonder is the chicken they serve really a chicken(remember milk scandal?).

This is CHINA!

Just so you know, ShenZhen is consider a major and developed city. Not every China being can go to ShenZhen, as it is too near to Hong Kong. (Maybe they are afraid people go to HK and refuse to go back to mainland China, but I do not blame them too).

Although China and HK are just separated by a border(even nearer compared to that of SG and Malaysia), we HK people and those of China are very different in many ways.

At least we do not knock over someone and walk away glaring at the victim, we do help and apologise. If you were robbed in China, onlookers will never help you, for they fear of being harmed too. The cleanliness there could be greatly improved, but was way better than that of ten years ago. And of course, many other crimes could be located there.

Now, people there not only pickpocket or rob you. They rob and then even proceed to take your organs and sell it:X Hot items are your heart, liver and eyes.

Was really glad I managed to come back in one piece unharmed and not facing any robbers! Maybe because it's a weekday, lesser people means lesser crimes.

ShenZhen Metro.

It's very developed now, looking back.

But China still has a habit of copying(no originality), you will understand what I mean if you are someone from HK or knows HK very well.

This is their single journey ticket, it's a tap and go type. I was stupidly looking for a hole to slot it into when a kind women pointed out it was a tap and go ticket. But looking like a chip(at those funfair/arcade or even casinos), I am sure many people will also do what I stupidly did and try to look for the hole to slot it.

Is this the whole of ShenZhen?

Me inside the ShenZhen Metro, it's completely white and very stuffy. But looks exactly like HK's MTR.

Trained to Dong Men.

More shopping, not.

The shops there are the same as that in HK's, but as RMB is higher than HKD now, everything there is much more expensive as compared to those in HK. They sales have poor service too, unlike those helpful and polite handsome ones back at HK.

Converse at China.

Taxi, looks more like a police car to me.

Packed with local China people.

As expected, people smoking everywhere.

They even smoke in shopping malls.

Similar to HK, but will never replace the HK in my heart.

Unlike HK, at China, one can hardly spot English.

I really wonder how the rest of China is like?

McDonald's.

KFC.

Donuts!

Bubble tea there only RMB3, about SGD0.60 each!

Trains to various other parts of China.

Can travel all the way to Beijing from here.

Maybe can go to Beijing sometime.

China really very develpoed now!

Back at HK!

Saw this ad. China's version of IFC. Copycat anyone?!

Located at ShenZhen's CBD, not bad, not bad.

Still, ALL MY LOVE to HONG KONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

p.s. After this trip to ShenZhen, I finally understood why people from China likes to move down to HK or Singapore. I also understood why they prefer to stay at Macau/HK and takes great pride and glory in that HK/Macau is part of China.
